HERB PROFILE: Echinacea.

Echinacea, a wild flower native to America, is one of the world’s most respected immune-boosting herbs and that’s why Zane Hellas use it in their energizing, immune-balancing supplement IMMUNE PREMIUM. It grows up to 20 inches in height, producing striking pink daisy-like flowers.

Components of the root, leaves, and flowers all contain the immune-stimulating compounds.

These medical findings support Echinacea traditional use in folk medicine.  For many centuries, Echinacea’s been used to stimulate the immune system and treat respiratory infections, and topically on the skin to treat eczema and psoriasis. In the 1800s, medical doctors prescribed Echinacea to patients to heal infections and it’s still prescribed by physicians in Germany to this day.  Today, Echinacea is still so popular that American customers spend more than $300 million a year on it, using it to boost their immunity and ward off the common cold.
